Taster Session

If you're looking to get started at CrossFit Leeds the best thing you can do is to book on to one of our free Taster sessions. Your Taster Session gives you the opportunity to come and look around the gym, spend dedicated time with a coach, try a CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day) that is scaled to your ability, and ask any questions you may have. You'll be participating alongside others who are new to CrossFit. By the end of the session you'll have a good appreciation of what our CrossFit classes involve and how you can benefit from our training so you can make a more informed decision on whether CrossFit is for you.

 

Our Free Taster sessions run on the first Thursday of every month from 8-9pm. You can book on to our next Taster Session on the link below:

Fundamentals

The renowned CrossFit Leeds Fundamentals course is a series of one to one coached sessions that new members complete before joining the classes at CrossFit Leeds. The aim of the Fundamentals course is to ensure new members have been taught the fundamental CrossFit movements in a dedicated and safe environment, allowing our experienced and highly-qualified coaches to consider any individual teaching requirements and restrictions, and allow a fluid introduction of new members into a class environment. As part of the course you will learn safe and efficient technique in a range of movements including basic body weight exercises, compound barbell lifts, kettlebell skills, Olympic weightlifting movements and some more CrossFit specific exercises. There is a CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day) included in every session to increase your fitness and let you experience how we train on a day to day basis. The Fundamentals Course provides you with a solid training base to allow fast and consistent progress within our classes.

 

Our Fundamentals Course consists of 4 x 1 hour personal training sessions at a reduced PT rate of £25 per session (£100 total). Your Fundamentals Course can be arranged at times convenient to you.

CrossFit Classes

Once you have completed your Fundamentals you can come and get involved in our CrossFit classes with the confidence that you can carry out the movements safely and efficiently. A typical class will involve:

  • Group warm up
  • Strength or skill development
  • CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day)

If you are already experienced with CrossFit movements and workouts please get in touch to discuss getting started. Non-members will not be able to train without prior arrangement. You can check out our Workout of the Day on our blog and watch our classes in action on the video below.
